General
- OK, first of all, treat people as you wish to be treated. We are all equal here, I don’t care if you are royalty in real life, here we are all equal, even the staff. - Swearing is allowed, in moderation. I do not want to see it excessively. - No power playing or godmoding whatsoever. I do not want to see it, understand? Good. - Do not argue with staff, their decision is final. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, please PM the admin or another staff member.
Posting
- Please post at least 100 words in each post. This isn’t hard, I want this to be a literate RPG. - You must use proper grammar and spelling. If you do not, you will be warned. If you have to be warned too many times, then I will take action.
Characters
- To make a character, go to the board Creation . You must follow the form, if you don’t I will not accept your character until you do. The form is in the board, so this shouldn’t be too hard. - Please do not make every horse have a tragic past, or be perfect. Give them flaws and it won’t hurt to have a normal past. Please also do not put your characters in endless bad situations on purpose, it gets very annoying after a while. - You may have as many characters as you want, as long as they are active.
Royals
- Royals are chosen through auditions, which will be held when needed. Do not ask to be a royal. - Royals may be challenged for their position or mares(if they are the king). If a mare challenges for the position of queen, the king must approve it first. - The kings choose their queens, hence why challenges for queen must be approved first by the king. - If you are a royal, you are expected to remain active unless you have a good reason. If you do not post for two weeks, then your position will be taken away and new auditions held. You will not get it back unless you have a good reason.
Claiming
- To be claimed, head off to the Claiming Grounds. - To claim mares, just find an open thread in the Claiming Grounds. Or of course, you could always have your stallion barge in and try to take a mare from another stallion. - Mares have a choice who they go with normally, however stallions can force mares into their herds and it tends to be dark horses that force-claim each others. - To claim land, post a 250+ word post in one of the unclaimed lands.
Breeding and Birthing
- Graphic breeding is not allowed. Period. - You do not have to make a post in the breeding grounds, you can just post in the birthing grounds if both RPers agree. You also do not have to RP the birth. - Force-breeding is allowed, but please do not go over the top and remember, no graphic breeding. - You do not have to wait to have the foal. - If you do RP the breeding, it is ONLY to be done in the breeding grounds. Nowhere else. - Do not beg for certain traits in your foal, doing so may result in either the opposite or something bad happening to your foal. You can ask politely, but doing so will not guarantee you getting what you asked for. However, if you are about to kill off a lead stallion and need an heir, then let the person doing the stats know and you might get one. - Twins are very rare and triplets are only given out as rewards for contests or something similar, so do not ask for them. You can however buy them in the shop, just do not go too over the top with them.
Stallions
- Can claim land and mares. - Cannot adopt foals - Can force-breed - Can impregnate a mare at the age of three, no earlier.
Mares
- Can claim land - Can be force-claimed - Can be force-bred - Can adopt foals - Can become pregnant at the age of three, no earlier.
Foals
- Cannot claim land or mares if a colt - Cannot fight, except for play fighting - Can be adopted by mares by going to the Epona Plains. - Cannot breed or become pregnant/impregnate - Can run away
